The majority of Pakistanis are in favor of public execution. More than 16,000 users took part in the online survey conducted on the DW Urdu service's Facebook page. 94% of them voted in public. Only 6% opposed the sentence. The survey was conducted in the wake of the passage of a resolution in the National Assembly of Pakistan.
